On April 8th, a Professional Development Day was held at Oakleigh Grammar in collaboration with Little Anna. MGTAV (Modern Greek Teachers Association of Victoria) aimed to support language educators by exploring diverse methods for integrating the past into the future of their classrooms. A special thank you is extended to Oakleigh Grammar for allowing MGTAV to host the event at their school, which brought together teachers for a day of professional growth and collaboration.

Η Ημέρα Επαγγελματικής Ανάπτυξης εμπλουτίστηκε από την εμπειρία της ομάδας της Little Anna, που περιλάμβανε την Περιστέρα Παπαγεωργίου, Ουρανία Παπαγεωργίου, Νίκη Φαρφαρά Πάσχου, Κατερίνα Πουταχίδου και Χριστίνα Σουμή. Οι συνεισφορές τους βοήθησαν να υλοποιηθούν οι στόχοι της εκδήλωσης, προσφέροντας στους δασκάλους πολύτιμες γνώσεις και πρακτικές στρατηγικές για την ενίσχυση της διδασκαλίας της γλώσσας.

A key feature of the PD day was its connection to MGTAV’s earlier Immersion Day event, which focused on engaging students with active learning experiences. By building on this foundation, the PD day aimed to help teachers continue the momentum, enabling them to apply the strategies and approaches that students had enjoyed during the Immersion Day in their everyday teaching.
